Cholera Immunisation Vaccine, Oldham
Our clinic here in Greater Manchester offers the cholera shot for people travelling to areas with a higher risk of catching the disease. Cholera cannot be contracted in the UK, but in some parts of the world, especially those without a clean water supply and sewage system, there is a small risk of becoming infected during travel. To prevent this from happening, it is recommended to receive the cholera shot.

There is likely to be bruising or redness in the site of the vaccination, usually on your upper arm.
How long does the cholera vaccine last?
These vaccines require two doses for adults and children over 6 years of age. They provide protection for up to 2 years for adults and up to 3 years for children.
